Already 50 years ago a new kind of bolted pipe joint emerged more or less by itself. In order to stop  joints from leaking, something had to be done. Flanges simply had to be machined full-face and sealed  by some kind of a putty or an 0-ring. Having realised already in 1963, that the conventional gasketed  pipe joint indeed is delusive, Mr. Webjörn developed the novel approach into the VERAX Compact  Flange System, which is a synthesis not only of hardware such as flanges, bolts and nuts, but also of  software such as specifications, instructions, provisoes and such.
